In our lifetime, there has never been more a better moment to sit back and reflect on the last 12 months. We entered completely unknown territory and had our ‘normality’ flipped upside down. But, despite this, we soldiered on and dealt with the challenges.
This Christmas message pays tribute to our Cleaning Operatives.
We celebrate the fact that people have realised the importance of cleanliness and hygiene, and the role that Cleaning Operatives play in keeping people safe.
I have received exceptional, written client feedback regarding the excellent work of our Operatives during the pandemic – letters from some of the most senior people within our client's organisations. Despite the fear of the virus and the national lockdown, our Operatives who had keyworker status, turned up, carried out their duties and then some more.
I have also seen first-hand in the UK Hub and out in the field, the superb co-ordination of client contracts and the management of additional service requirements. But without our excellent Operatives, this wouldn’t have been possible.
This year we are continuing the tradition of making a charitable donation to Action for Children to mark the festive period. This is as an alternative to cards and postage. Action for Children do a brilliant job helping disadvantaged children across the UK – and these children really need that support now.
So enjoy your festive break, stay safe and here's to a prosperous 2021. So make it count, more so than ever.
