Thank Your Cleaner Day
Today is ‘Thank Your Cleaner Day’ – a time dedicated to recognising the importance of professional cleaners, and their impact on the daily running of Offices, Homes and Professional Environments.
Founded by the Building Services Contractors of New Zealand (BSCNZ), ‘Thank Your Cleaner Day’ was established in 2015. This day is in partnership with cleaning technology company, Kärcher, and works to bring praise and recognition to Cleaning Operatives around the globe.
Here at Indepth, we consider our people to be at the heart of our business and; without their commitment and continual dedication we could not provide our services, on a national scale. Because of this, we want to take today to thank our unsung heroes who have continuously provided our Clients with industry-leading standards.
Throughout this year and the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, our Cleaning Operatives have provided Touch Point Cleaning, Reactive Covid Cleans and Preopen Cleans, to help businesses across the UK to reopen and stay open.
Rewarding their hard work
To get the ball rolling with our celebrations, we asked that each of our Regional and Area Managers award one Cleaning Operative, within their area, with a token gift of our appreciation. Due to our exceptionally high standards and dedicated teams of Operatives, the decisions were tough!
Our London City Manager, Alex Vidales, nominated our hard-working Operative Claudette Edwards as “she is reliable, flexible and her performance is excellent”. Claudette received a box of luxury chocolates and flowers, as a token of our gratitude for her continuous efforts. Thank you, Claudette!
Next up, our Area Manager within our Midlands Region, Dinesh Weeratunga, nominated two of our dedicated Cleaning Operatives to receive recognition for their continued efforts. Lorraine Wilkes received a box of chocolates as a thank you from Indepth. Dinesh commented on Lorraine’s commitment to her job as she is “always willing to step in and help where it is needed”. What a team player!
Dinesh’s second nomination is Tony Pearsall, another of our hard-working Cleaning Operatives. Tony also received a box of chocolates as a special thank you for his continued hard work. Dinesh praised Tony as ‘he is always willing to help out and provide cover when it is needed. He is a reliable employee who always has a positive attitude towards his work’.
Thank you, Lorraine and Tony and we hope that you enjoy your chocolates!
One of our Midlands Area Managers, Dawn Lloyd-Jones, nominated our Cleaning Operative, Debbie Thomas, as ‘she is one of our many unsung heroes who has worked tirelessly throughout some tough times, during the past few months, all whilst being happy and positive’. Debbie is unfortunately leaving Indepth and we would like to wish her the very best of luck with her future endeavours. She has been an asset to our team and she will be sorely missed.
Thank you and good luck, Debbie!
It is important to ensure that your Operatives are appreciated and that they are thanked for their continuous hard work. Not just today but every day, it is vital to instil a positive working environment where productivity is rife and exceptionally high standards are maintained.
So, why not join us and spare a moment today to express your gratitude to the unsung heroes that are your cleaners.
Join us in saying thank you.
